Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last Updated: July 29, 2026

MARSTEN is operated by ZENTARA BRANDS LIMITED (“MARSTEN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This page explains how eligible consumers may opt out of certain uses and disclosures of personal information associated with:

  • The sale of personal information

  • Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising

  • Processing for targeted advertising

The terms “sale,” “sharing,” and “targeted advertising” have specific meanings under applicable U.S. state privacy laws and may be broader than their ordinary meanings.

This page should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and, for eligible California residents, our California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) Policy.

Nothing on this page limits any privacy right available under applicable law.

1. Our Data Practices

MARSTEN does not sell personal information in exchange for money.

However, we may use ecommerce, analytics, advertising, attribution, personalization, and similar technologies that disclose limited personal information to Shopify or other third parties.

Depending on the applicable law and how a particular service operates, these disclosures may be considered:

  • A sale of personal information

  • Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising

  • Processing for targeted advertising

The information involved may include:

  • Cookie identifiers

  • Device identifiers

  • Advertising identifiers

  • IP address

  • Browser and device information

  • Approximate location inferred from an IP address

  • Website activity

  • Pages and products viewed

  • Search and navigation activity

  • Shopping-cart or checkout activity

  • Advertising interactions

  • Purchase or conversion events

  • Hashed or pseudonymized customer identifiers

The categories actually involved depend on:

  • How you interact with MARSTEN

  • Your browser and device

  • Your location

  • The applications and services enabled on our website

  • Your consent and privacy choices

  • Applicable legal requirements

Additional information about our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is provided in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your Right to Opt Out

Where applicable law grants you an opt-out right, you may direct MARSTEN not to use or disclose your personal information in ways legally considered:

  • Selling personal information

  • Sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising

  • Processing personal information for targeted advertising

You do not need to:

  • Create a customer account

  • Place an order

  • Pay a fee

  • Explain why you are making the request

After a valid opt-out request is processed, we will take reasonable steps to apply the preference to relevant advertising and data-sharing activities associated with the browser, device, account, email address, or other information reasonably connected with the request.

3. Submit an Opt-Out Through Our Website

The most direct way to submit a browser-level opt-out is through the privacy-choice control below:

YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES / OPT-OUT REQUEST CONTROL

The control should allow you to opt out of applicable:

  • Sale of personal information

  • Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising

  • Processing for targeted advertising

without creating an account or completing a purchase.

When you submit a choice through this control, an essential preference cookie or similar technology may be used to remember and apply your selection.

The preference may apply only to the browser and device used to submit it unless we can reasonably associate the choice with a customer account or other identifying information.

4. Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control, commonly referred to as GPC, is a browser-based privacy preference signal.

Where required by applicable law and supported by our website and privacy systems, we treat a recognized GPC signal as a request to opt out of applicable:

  • Sale of personal information

  • Sharing of personal information

  • Targeted advertising

A GPC signal generally applies to the browser and device transmitting the signal.

You may need to enable GPC separately on each browser and device you use.

Where you are signed into a customer account and the website can reasonably associate the signal with that account, we may apply the preference more broadly where required or technically supported.

A valid GPC signal does not require you to submit a separate website form for the browser and device transmitting the signal.

5. Submit an Opt-Out by Email

You may also submit an opt-out request by contacting:

Please provide:

  • Your full name

  • The email address associated with your interaction with MARSTEN

  • Your state of residence

  • A statement that you wish to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

  • Any other limited information reasonably necessary to locate and apply the request

Do not send:

  • Complete payment-card numbers

  • Card security codes

  • Banking passwords

  • Customer-account passwords

  • One-time authentication codes

  • Government identification unless we specifically explain why limited identification is reasonably necessary

  • Other unnecessary sensitive credentials

Submitting an opt-out request by email may not automatically place a browser-specific opt-out preference on your device.

For the most complete browser-level preference, also use:

  • The Your Privacy Choices control; or

  • A supported Global Privacy Control signal

6. Scope of an Opt-Out

An opt-out may be applied using information such as:

  • Browser cookies

  • Device or advertising identifiers

  • Email address

  • Customer-account information

  • Other identifiers reasonably associated with the request

Some privacy choices are browser- or device-specific.

You may need to repeat your preference if you:

  • Use another browser

  • Use another device

  • Clear browser cookies or website data

  • Browse in private or incognito mode

  • Reset browser privacy settings

  • Use a different customer account

  • Access the website without signing into an account

Where you provide an email address, we may use it to apply your preference to relevant customer records and supported advertising systems.

We will not use information provided for an opt-out request for an unrelated purpose.

7. What Changes After You Opt Out

After a valid request is processed, we will take reasonable steps to restrict relevant personal information from being used or disclosed for:

  • Sale

  • Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising

  • Targeted advertising

as required by applicable law.

You may continue to see advertisements after opting out.

Those advertisements may be:

  • Contextual rather than behaviorally targeted

  • Based on the content of the page you are viewing

  • Based on general location

  • Based on information that does not identify or reasonably relate to you

  • Selected without using your activity across unrelated businesses, websites, or applications

  • Delivered by a provider that has not connected the activity with MARSTEN

An opt-out does not necessarily:

  • Remove advertisements

  • Stop every form of analytics

  • Delete personal information

  • Unsubscribe you from marketing emails

  • Remove cookies already stored on your device

  • Prevent all disclosures to service providers

  • Prevent processing permitted without an opt-out right

To unsubscribe from promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link contained in the email or contact contact@marstenhome.com.

To request access, correction, deletion, or another privacy right, follow the instructions in our Privacy Policy.

8. Processing That May Continue

An opt-out does not prevent us from collecting, using, or disclosing personal information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Operate and secure the website

  • Maintain shopping-cart and checkout functionality

  • Process and verify payments

  • Fulfill and deliver orders

  • Provide requested customer support

  • Maintain customer accounts

  • Process returns, refunds, replacements, and store credit

  • Prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions

  • Investigate delivery or payment disputes

  • Maintain essential website preferences

  • Debug and repair website errors

  • Measure security or operational performance

  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations

  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

  • Protect customers, payment-account holders, MARSTEN, or other persons

  • Perform another activity permitted by applicable law

These operational activities are not necessarily considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

MARSTEN, Shopify, and other service providers may use technologies such as:

  • Cookies

  • Pixels

  • Tags

  • Web beacons

  • Local storage

  • Device identifiers

  • Advertising identifiers

  • Embedded scripts

  • Server-side event technologies

These technologies may support:

  • Website functionality

  • Shopping-cart operation

  • Checkout

  • Customer accounts

  • Security

  • Fraud prevention

  • Analytics

  • Advertising

  • Attribution

  • Personalization

  • Recording privacy preferences

You may manage available cookie choices through:

  • Our cookie banner

  • The Cookie Preferences control

  • The Your Privacy Choices control

  • Browser settings

  • A supported Global Privacy Control signal

Blocking essential technologies may prevent portions of the website, shopping cart, customer account, or checkout from functioning correctly.

Additional information is available in our Cookie Policy.

10. Shopify and Shopify Network Intelligence

MARSTEN uses Shopify to host and operate its online store.

Depending on the Shopify settings and services enabled for MARSTEN, Shopify may process information to provide services involving:

  • Ecommerce functionality

  • Checkout

  • Security

  • Fraud prevention

  • Analytics

  • Personalization

  • Advertising

  • Store and customer insights

Where Shopify Network Intelligence or related Shopify Enhanced Services are enabled, Shopify may use eligible information from interactions with MARSTEN together with information from interactions with other Shopify merchants.

When an applicable opt-out is properly recorded through:

the relevant customer activity may be restricted from use by Shopify Network Intelligence for advertising purposes.

Customers may also exercise certain privacy choices directly through the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Additional information about Shopify’s processing is available in our Privacy Policy and the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

11. Service Providers and Operational Disclosures

An opt-out does not prevent disclosures to service providers, contractors, or processors that use personal information to provide operational services to MARSTEN under applicable legal and contractual requirements.

These providers may assist with:

  • Ecommerce hosting

  • Payment processing

  • Order fulfillment

  • Shipping and delivery

  • Returns processing

  • Customer support

  • Website security

  • Fraud prevention

  • Communications

  • Analytics

  • Accounting

  • Legal and compliance services

A provider may also process information independently where permitted or required by law and subject to its own privacy responsibilities.

12. Verification

We generally do not require extensive identity verification solely to process an opt-out request where applicable law does not require it.

However, we may request limited information where reasonably necessary to:

  • Locate relevant personal information

  • Apply the preference accurately

  • Confirm that the request relates to the correct person

  • Prevent fraudulent or unauthorized requests

  • Protect another person’s privacy

  • Comply with applicable law

Verification may involve:

  • Confirming access to an email address

  • Confirming limited customer-account information

  • Confirming relevant order information

  • Matching submitted information with existing records

We will not request more information than is reasonably necessary for the request.

Information provided for verification will be used only for verification, security, fraud prevention, request processing, and legal compliance.

13. Authorized Agents

Where permitted by applicable law, you may authorize another person or organization to submit an opt-out request on your behalf.

We may request reasonable evidence that:

  • You authorized the agent to act for you

  • The agent is legally permitted to submit the request

  • The request relates to the correct individual

We may contact you directly to confirm the request unless applicable law provides otherwise.

A valid Global Privacy Control signal does not require separate proof that the browser user appointed an authorized agent where applicable law requires recognition of the signal.

14. Response Timing and Request Records

We will process valid opt-out requests as soon as reasonably practicable and within the period required by applicable law.

Browser-based choices may take effect automatically or shortly after the preference is submitted.

Requests requiring manual review or association with offline customer records may require additional processing time.

We may retain a limited record of the request to:

  • Demonstrate compliance

  • Apply and maintain the preference

  • Prevent the choice from being unintentionally reversed

  • Respond to future privacy inquiries

  • Prevent fraudulent requests

  • Comply with legal obligations

If we cannot complete a request, we will provide an explanation where required by applicable law.

Where a right to appeal applies, instructions for submitting an appeal will be provided with the decision or are available through our Privacy Policy.

15. No Unlawful Discrimination

MARSTEN will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

We will not, solely because you submitted a valid privacy request:

  • Deny you products or services

  • Charge you a different price

  • Provide a different level or quality of service

  • Retaliate against you

  • Suggest that you will receive a different price or level of service

This does not prevent:

  • Lawful promotions

  • Ordinary discount programs

  • Loyalty programs

  • Financial incentives

  • Price or service differences

that are permitted and appropriately disclosed under applicable law.

16. Minors

MARSTEN is not directed to children under 13 years of age.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age for cross-context behavioral advertising without the authorization required by applicable law.

Contact us at contact@marstenhome.com if you believe a child has provided personal information through our website or that information concerning a minor has been processed improperly.

17. Do Not Track

Some browsers provide a general “Do Not Track” setting.

There is no single universally adopted technical standard governing how all websites and advertising providers must respond to every Do Not Track signal.

Where required by applicable law, we recognize legally applicable opt-out preference signals, such as supported Global Privacy Control signals.

A general Do Not Track setting may not have the same effect as:

  • A Global Privacy Control signal

  • The Your Privacy Choices control

  • An email opt-out request

  • A cookie-preference selection

18. Other Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable law, you may also have rights to:

  • Request access to personal information

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of certain information

  • Obtain a portable copy of certain information

  • Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information

  • Opt out of certain profiling

  • Withdraw consent

  • Appeal a privacy-request decision

  • Lodge a complaint with an applicable authority

These rights, exceptions, and request methods are described in our Privacy Policy.

California residents should also review our California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) Policy.
