Payment Policy

Last Updated: July 29, 2026

MARSTEN is operated by ZENTARA BRANDS LIMITED (“MARSTEN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Payment Policy explains the payment methods, authorization procedures, fraud-prevention checks, billing practices, refunds, store credit, payment disputes, and other payment-related terms applying to purchases made directly through marstenhome.com.

By submitting an order through MARSTEN, you agree to this Payment Policy together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any consumer right, payment right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Payment Policy at a Glance

  • Transaction currency: United States dollars (USD)

  • Accepted methods: The payment methods displayed as available during checkout

  • Payment timing: Payment may be authorized, reserved, or collected when the order is submitted, verified, accepted, or fulfilled, depending on the payment method and store configuration

  • Fraud screening: Orders may be reviewed or temporarily held for reasonable transaction verification

  • Standard refund method: Original payment method

  • Store credit: Available only where offered or approved under our Return and Refund Policy

  • Cash on delivery: Not accepted unless expressly displayed during checkout

  • Payment disputes: Customers retain legitimate dispute rights, but duplicate or knowingly false recovery claims are prohibited

  • Billing recognition: Statement wording may vary according to the selected payment method, processor, card network, and bank

The complete terms are stated below.

1. Currency

All product prices, shipping charges, optional-service charges, discounts, taxes, refunds, store-credit amounts, and other amounts displayed by MARSTEN are stated in United States dollars (USD) unless expressly indicated otherwise.

The total amount payable will be displayed during checkout before you submit the order.

If your payment method or account is denominated in another currency, your bank, card issuer, wallet provider, or payment provider may:

  • Convert the transaction into another currency

  • Apply its own exchange rate

  • Charge a foreign-transaction fee

  • Charge a currency-conversion fee

  • Display an estimated or converted amount on your statement

MARSTEN does not determine or receive independently imposed currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees and does not control the exchange rate applied by your financial institution.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the payment methods displayed as available during checkout.

Depending on the order, device, customer location, and checkout configuration, available methods may include:

  • Credit or debit cards

  • Digital wallets

  • Accelerated-checkout services

  • Other payment methods expressly displayed during checkout

The payment methods shown during checkout are the payment methods currently available for that transaction.

The display of a logo, payment-method name, or general payment reference elsewhere on the website does not guarantee that the method will be available for every order.

We do not accept payment by a method that is not displayed or expressly authorized by MARSTEN.

3. Payment Processing

Payments are processed using Shopify and authorized third-party payment infrastructure.

Depending on the payment method selected, processing may involve:

  • Shopify

  • An authorized payment processor

  • A card network

  • A digital-wallet provider

  • A bank or card issuer

  • A transaction-authentication provider

  • A fraud-prevention or verification provider

Purchases made directly through MARSTEN are transactions with ZENTARA BRANDS LIMITED, trading as MARSTEN.

Shopify and other payment providers supply the technology or financial services used to process the transaction but are not the seller of products purchased directly from MARSTEN.

Payment providers may process information in accordance with their own:

  • Terms

  • Privacy policies

  • Security procedures

  • Authentication requirements

  • Regulatory obligations

4. Secure Checkout and Payment Information

Our website uses HTTPS and encrypted checkout infrastructure intended to protect information transmitted between your browser, Shopify, and authorized payment providers.

MARSTEN does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers, card security codes, online-banking passwords, or digital-wallet passwords through its ordinary business systems.

We may receive limited payment-related information, including:

  • Payment status

  • Payment-method type

  • Card brand

  • The final digits of a payment card

  • Billing address

  • Transaction identifier

  • Authentication status

  • Fraud-screening results

  • Refund or dispute information

This limited information may be used to:

  • Process and verify orders

  • Provide customer support

  • Issue refunds

  • Reconcile transactions

  • Prevent fraud

  • Investigate unauthorized activity

  • Respond to payment disputes

  • Maintain legally required records

No website, network, payment system, or electronic transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Customers are responsible for protecting their devices, email accounts, payment accounts, passwords, and digital-wallet credentials.

Never send MARSTEN:

  • A complete payment-card number

  • A card security code

  • An online-banking password

  • A digital-wallet password

  • A one-time authentication code

  • Other unnecessary payment-account credentials

by email, telephone, voicemail, contact form, or another unsecured communication method.

5. Payment Authorization

By submitting an order, you represent and confirm that:

  • You are the authorized holder of the selected payment method or have the holder’s express permission.

  • The billing and payment information supplied is accurate and complete.

  • The payment method is valid.

  • Sufficient funds or credit are available.

  • You authorize MARSTEN and its payment providers to charge the total displayed during checkout.

  • You authorize reasonable transaction, identity, address, payment, and fraud-prevention checks.

  • You agree to pay all product prices, shipping charges, optional-service charges, and taxes displayed before the order is submitted.

Using another person’s payment method without authorization is prohibited.

The payment-account holder remains responsible for authorized transactions made by:

  • A household member

  • An employee

  • An assistant

  • Another person given access to the payment method, account, device, wallet, or credentials

except where applicable law or the payment provider determines otherwise.

6. Payment Authorization, Capture, and Collection

When you submit an order, the payment method may be:

  • Authorized immediately

  • Charged immediately

  • Temporarily reserved for the purchase amount

  • Captured after transaction verification

  • Captured after order acceptance

  • Processed according to the selected payment provider’s procedures

An authorization confirms that the payment method appears capable of covering the transaction. It is not always a completed charge.

Payment capture is the process through which the authorized payment is collected.

The timing and appearance of authorization and capture depend on:

  • The payment method

  • Our payment-capture configuration

  • The payment provider

  • The card network

  • The customer’s bank

  • Transaction-verification requirements

We will not intentionally capture more than the amount authorized or otherwise approved by the customer, except where an additional charge is separately authorized or required by law.

7. Pending Authorization Holds

A bank or payment provider may display a temporary pending authorization after:

  • An order is submitted

  • A payment attempt is interrupted

  • A payment is declined

  • A payment method is changed

  • An order is cancelled

  • An authorization is later captured or released

A pending authorization is not necessarily a completed payment.

If an order is declined, cancelled, or not completed, the authorization may be released without becoming a finalized charge.

The time required for a pending authorization to disappear is controlled by the customer’s bank, card issuer, or payment provider.

MARSTEN cannot directly remove or accelerate the release of a pending bank authorization.

8. Order Receipt and Acceptance

Payment approval does not by itself guarantee order acceptance or fulfillment.

An automated order-confirmation message means that we received the order. It does not necessarily mean that:

  • The payment has been finally captured

  • The transaction has completed verification

  • Inventory has been allocated

  • The order has been accepted

  • The order has entered fulfillment

  • The order has been dispatched

An order is accepted when MARSTEN:

  • Sends a shipping confirmation; or

  • Otherwise expressly confirms acceptance in writing

Before acceptance, we may review the transaction for:

  • Payment authorization

  • Product availability

  • Address accuracy

  • Identity or transaction verification

  • Fraud indicators

  • Shipping eligibility

  • Quantity or resale concerns

  • Pricing or listing errors

  • Technical errors

  • Legal or regulatory requirements

If we cancel a paid order before fulfillment, we will issue the applicable refund to the original payment method.

9. Fraud Prevention and Transaction Screening

To protect customers, payment-account holders, and our business, orders may be screened using automated and manual fraud-prevention measures.

We may evaluate information including:

  • Billing address

  • Shipping address

  • Address-verification results

  • Card security-code results

  • Payment-authentication results

  • IP address

  • Device and browser information

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Transaction value

  • Payment attempts

  • Order history

  • Delivery location

  • Previous returns, refunds, disputes, or confirmed misuse

  • Fraud-risk indicators provided by Shopify or payment providers

We may:

  • Temporarily hold an order

  • Request additional verification

  • Restrict payment attempts

  • Decline an order

  • Cancel an order

  • Refund a collected payment

  • Restrict future transactions

where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, unauthorized use, policy abuse, or other unlawful activity.

A payment being initially approved does not prevent us from cancelling or refunding an order where material fraud or authorization concerns are identified before fulfillment.

10. Additional Verification

Where reasonably necessary, we may ask the customer to:

  • Confirm the order by email or telephone

  • Confirm the billing or shipping address

  • Confirm that the payment-account holder authorized the purchase

  • Complete authentication through the bank or payment provider

  • Confirm limited information already associated with the transaction

  • Provide limited identity-verification information

  • Use another verifiable payment method

  • Respond to a payment-provider verification request

Do not submit identification documents unless MARSTEN specifically requests them and provides instructions for submission.

We will request only information reasonably necessary to:

  • Verify the transaction

  • Protect the payment-account holder

  • Prevent fraud

  • Locate the order

  • Comply with payment-provider or legal requirements

Failure to complete a reasonable verification request may result in:

  • Processing delay

  • Temporary order hold

  • Order cancellation

  • Refund to the original payment method

  • Restriction of further payment attempts

Processing time may begin or resume after the required verification is completed.

Personal information used for verification is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Bank Authentication and 3-D Secure

Certain transactions may require additional authentication selected by the card issuer or payment provider.

Authentication may include:

  • 3-D Secure

  • A one-time passcode

  • Approval through a banking application

  • Biometric confirmation

  • Another verification step

MARSTEN does not control:

  • Whether authentication is required

  • The authentication method selected

  • Whether the customer successfully completes it

  • Whether the bank approves the transaction afterward

A failed, expired, abandoned, or rejected authentication attempt may prevent completion of the order.

Successful authentication does not guarantee order acceptance, product availability, or fulfillment.

12. Declined or Failed Payments

A payment may be declined or fail because of:

  • Insufficient funds or available credit

  • Incorrect payment information

  • An incorrect billing address

  • An expired payment method

  • A card security-code mismatch

  • Bank fraud controls

  • Online or international payment restrictions

  • Transaction limits

  • Failed identity authentication

  • Payment-provider technical issues

  • Repeated payment attempts

  • Another decision by the bank or payment provider

MARSTEN generally receives limited decline information and may not know the exact reason for a bank’s decision.

If payment fails, you may:

  • Review the payment information

  • Confirm that the billing address matches your bank records

  • Contact your bank or payment provider

  • Complete any requested authentication

  • Use another payment method displayed during checkout

  • Try again after resolving the issue

An order is not successfully placed until checkout confirms completion and issues an order number.

13. Repeated Payment Attempts

Repeated failed or interrupted payment attempts may trigger security restrictions imposed by:

  • Shopify

  • A payment processor

  • A card network

  • A digital-wallet provider

  • The customer’s bank

  • MARSTEN’s fraud-prevention systems

Do not repeatedly submit the same payment after a decline without first reviewing the information or contacting the payment provider.

We may temporarily or permanently restrict further attempts where activity reasonably appears:

  • Automated

  • Abusive

  • Unauthorized

  • Fraudulent

  • Intended to bypass security controls

14. Duplicate and Pending Charges

A customer may occasionally see more than one pending entry after:

  • Repeated checkout attempts

  • A declined payment

  • An interrupted checkout

  • A payment-method change

  • Separate bank authorizations

  • A wallet or bank displaying the same transaction in more than one location

A pending authorization does not necessarily mean that MARSTEN collected a duplicate payment.

Before reporting a duplicate charge, review whether the entries are:

  • Pending authorizations

  • Completed or posted charges

  • Charges for separate orders

  • A pending authorization and a completed charge

  • Transactions displayed differently by a digital wallet or bank

If two completed payments were collected for the same order, contact contact@marstenhome.com and provide:

  • Your order number

  • The dates and amounts of both transactions

  • The final four digits of the applicable payment card, where relevant

  • A screenshot or statement excerpt with unrelated financial information concealed

We will investigate and refund any verified duplicate collection.

15. Billing Descriptor and Unrecognized Charges

A MARSTEN transaction may appear on your bank, card, or payment-account statement using wording associated with:

  • MARSTEN

  • ZENTARA BRANDS LIMITED

  • The selected digital wallet

  • The payment processor

  • A shortened or abbreviated version of the relevant name

The exact presentation may vary according to:

  • The payment method

  • Processor configuration

  • Card network

  • Digital-wallet provider

  • Bank display format

  • Character limits imposed by the financial institution

Before reporting a charge as unauthorized, compare:

  • The transaction amount

  • The transaction date

  • Your MARSTEN order confirmation

  • Your PayPal or digital-wallet history

  • Purchases made by authorized household members

  • Pending and completed transactions

  • Any order placed under another email address

If you do not recognize a charge that may relate to MARSTEN, contact us promptly at contact@marstenhome.com.

Provide:

  • The transaction date

  • The transaction amount

  • The descriptor displayed

  • The final four digits of the payment card, where applicable

  • The possible customer name or email address associated with the purchase

Do not send a complete payment-card number by email.

Nothing in this section restricts a lawful right to report genuinely unauthorized payment activity to your bank or payment provider.

16. Prices and Checkout Errors

We take reasonable steps to display accurate prices and totals.

The amount shown in the final checkout summary generally controls, subject to correction of an obvious:

  • Typographical error

  • Technical error

  • Currency error

  • System error

  • Pricing error

If an error materially affects an order, we may:

  • Correct the information before purchase

  • Contact the customer for confirmation

  • Cancel the affected product before fulfillment

  • Issue a refund where payment was already collected

We will not increase the price of an accepted order without the customer’s agreement, except where a correction or additional payment is required by law and separately authorized.

17. Taxes

Applicable taxes may be calculated based on factors including:

  • Delivery destination

  • Product classification

  • Applicable tax rules

  • Available customer information

Where tax is collected, it will be included in or added to the order total displayed before payment is submitted.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the complete checkout total before authorizing payment.

A change to an address or order may affect the applicable tax calculation.

18. Shipping and Optional Service Charges

Available shipping options and optional shipping-related services are displayed during checkout.

These may include:

  • Free Standard Shipping

  • Shipping Protection

  • Shipping Protection + Priority

  • Other services expressly offered for the applicable order

The selected shipping option becomes part of the authorized order total.

Optional charges are refundable only:

  • Where required by law

  • Where the applicable service did not begin or was not provided

  • Where MARSTEN expressly approves the refund

  • As otherwise stated in our Shipping Policy or Return and Refund Policy

Priority handling does not guarantee delivery by a specific date unless the service is expressly identified as guaranteed.

19. Discounts and Promotional Codes

Discounts, promotional codes, gifts, and special offers are subject to their stated terms.

Unless expressly indicated otherwise:

  • Only one promotional code may be applied to an order.

  • Discounts cannot be applied after the order has been submitted.

  • Codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Expired codes will not be accepted.

  • Codes may be limited by customer, account, household, address, product, order value, or promotional period.

  • Discounts may exclude shipping, optional services, taxes, or selected products.

  • A promotion has not been applied unless it appears in the final checkout summary.

  • Codes obtained or used through unauthorized publication, manipulation, duplication, or abuse may be rejected or cancelled.

Where a discount applies across multiple products, any partial refund may reflect the proportionate value assigned to the returned product under our Return and Refund Policy.

20. Digital Wallets and Accelerated Checkout

When you use a digital wallet or accelerated-checkout service, the provider may automatically supply saved information such as:

  • Customer name

  • Billing address

  • Shipping address

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Tokenized payment information

You are responsible for reviewing this information before completing the order.

MARSTEN is not responsible for an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address automatically supplied or approved through a customer’s wallet or accelerated-checkout account where the customer had an opportunity to review it, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

The payment or wallet provider may display transactions, refunds, and pending entries differently from a conventional card statement.

21. Changing a Payment Method

We cannot generally replace the payment method associated with an order after the transaction has been completed.

Where an order must be paid using a different method, it may be necessary to:

  • Cancel the original order, if cancellation remains possible.

  • Void or refund the original payment.

  • Place a new order using another available payment method.

Submitting another payment does not automatically cancel or reverse the original transaction.

Refunds cannot ordinarily be redirected to:

  • A different card

  • A different bank account

  • A different digital wallet

  • Another person

  • A payment method unrelated to the original transaction

22. Refund Method

Approved standard refunds are generally issued to the original payment method used for the order.

We do not ordinarily issue refunds by:

  • Cash

  • Check

  • Wire transfer

  • An unrelated bank account

  • A different payment card

  • Another person’s payment account

unless:

  • Required by law

  • The original payment method is no longer technically capable of receiving the refund

  • The payment provider formally rejects the refund

  • MARSTEN expressly approves another lawful method

Refund eligibility and the amount refunded are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

23. Store Credit

In circumstances described in our Return and Refund Policy, MARSTEN may offer store credit instead of a refund to the original payment method.

Store credit may be offered for:

  • An otherwise ineligible or non-standard return

  • A used or opened product

  • A hygiene-sensitive product

  • A partial goodwill resolution

  • Another resolution accepted by the customer

Store credit is not automatically available and is not guaranteed.

Unless different terms are confirmed in writing:

  • Store credit may be used only through marstenhome.com.

  • Store credit has no cash value except where required by law.

  • Store credit cannot be transferred, sold, or applied to a previous purchase.

  • Store credit cannot ordinarily be exchanged for a refund to the original payment method.

  • Store credit cannot be combined with another refund, replacement, chargeback, payment reversal, or protection recovery for the same product or loss.

Where customer acceptance is required, store credit becomes the agreed resolution only after it has been offered and accepted in writing.

24. Refund Processing Time

After an eligible return has passed inspection or another refund has been approved:

  • MARSTEN will initiate the approved refund within 7 business days.

  • Refund confirmation will be sent to the email address associated with the order.

  • The refund will generally be submitted to the original payment method.

  • The bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the funds.

A refund may appear as:

  • A separate credit

  • A reversal of the original charge

  • A reduction of an outstanding balance

  • A restored digital-wallet balance

MARSTEN does not control how quickly the customer’s financial institution displays a refund after it has been submitted.

If more than 15 business days have passed since MARSTEN confirmed that the refund was issued, contact contact@marstenhome.com.

25. Expired, Replaced, Lost, or Closed Cards

Refunds are generally submitted to the original payment method even where the applicable card has:

  • Expired

  • Been replaced

  • Been reported lost

  • Been cancelled

  • Been associated with a closed account

The customer’s bank or payment provider determines whether and how the refund is routed to:

  • A replacement card

  • The underlying account

  • Another eligible account destination

Contact your bank if a refund was submitted to a card that is no longer active.

If the payment provider formally rejects the refund, contact us so that we can review the available lawful alternatives.

26. Order Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible to contact@marstenhome.com.

Suggested subject line: Cancellation Request – Order 1234

Submitting a request does not guarantee that the order can be cancelled.

Cancellation may no longer be possible after the order:

  • Enters fulfillment

  • Is allocated to a warehouse

  • Is prepared or packed

  • Receives a shipping label

  • Is transferred to a carrier

A pending cancellation request does not authorize the customer to treat the transaction as cancelled.

Cancellation is effective only after MARSTEN confirms it in writing.

If cancellation is no longer possible, the customer may request a return after delivery, subject to our Return and Refund Policy.

Do not refuse delivery or open a payment dispute solely as a substitute for an authorized cancellation or return.

Nothing in this section limits cancellation rights that apply where an order cannot be shipped within the represented timeframe or where cancellation is otherwise required by law.

27. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe your payment method was used without authorization:

Please provide available information that may help identify the transaction, including:

  • Transaction amount

  • Transaction date

  • Statement descriptor

  • Order number, if known

  • Customer name or email address potentially associated with the transaction

  • Final four digits of the card, where relevant

Do not send complete card information or account credentials.

Where appropriate, MARSTEN may:

  • Place an unshipped order on hold

  • Cancel an unshipped order

  • Preserve transaction records

  • Provide relevant records to the payment provider

  • Cooperate with lawful investigations

  • Restrict associated transactions pending review

Reporting an unauthorized transaction to MARSTEN does not replace notification to the applicable bank or payment provider.

28. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact us promptly regarding genuine concerns involving:

  • An unrecognized charge

  • A duplicate payment

  • Order cancellation

  • Delivery

  • Product condition

  • A return

  • A replacement

  • Store credit

  • A refund

This gives us an opportunity to review the matter and, where appropriate, resolve it directly.

Nothing in this policy prevents a customer from exercising a legitimate right through a bank, card issuer, payment provider, regulator, consumer-protection authority, or court.

However, customers must not knowingly submit:

  • A false unauthorized-transaction claim

  • A non-receipt claim after receiving the merchandise

  • A duplicate-refund claim

  • A claim that omits a replacement, refund, store credit, return, or delivery confirmation

  • A materially false description of the transaction

  • A dispute that deliberately omits relevant merchant communications

  • Multiple recovery claims through different channels for the same loss

If a dispute is opened, we may provide relevant information to the bank, card network, processor, or dispute administrator, including:

  • Order confirmation

  • Checkout and payment records

  • Billing and shipping information

  • Payment-authorization records

  • Address-verification results

  • Card security-code results

  • Authentication records

  • Device and IP information where lawful

  • Fraud-screening results

  • Customer communications

  • Product-page information

  • Website and policy records

  • Fulfillment records

  • Tracking history

  • Delivery confirmation

  • Delivery photographs

  • Signature or location records

  • Return authorization and tracking

  • Inspection findings

  • Replacement records

  • Refund and store-credit records

  • Evidence that the customer used, retained, returned, or acknowledged receipt of the merchandise

The bank, card issuer, or payment provider—not MARSTEN—makes the final decision within its dispute process.

29. Active Payment Disputes

While a chargeback, payment dispute, reversal, or payment hold is active for a transaction:

  • The disputed amount may already have been removed from or held against our payment account.

  • We may be technically or procedurally unable to issue a separate refund through the same transaction.

  • A pending refund or store credit may be paused to prevent duplicate reimbursement.

  • The matter may need to be resolved through the payment provider’s dispute process.

  • We may communicate with and provide evidence to the payment provider.

  • Existing instructions requiring preservation or authorized return of the product may remain applicable.

Opening a dispute does not automatically:

  • Cancel the order

  • Create return authorization

  • Establish that the transaction was unauthorized

  • Establish that a product was not delivered

  • Establish eligibility for a refund

  • Permit retention of duplicate financial recovery

Where practical, contact us before opening a dispute so we can determine whether the concern can be resolved directly.

30. Duplicate Reimbursement

A customer is not entitled to receive or retain more than one financial recovery for the same purchase or loss.

Duplicate recovery may include receiving or retaining both:

  • A MARSTEN refund and a successful chargeback

  • Store credit and a chargeback recovery for the same loss

  • A replacement product and a full refund

  • Merchandise and a payment reversal where payment or return remains lawfully required

  • Reimbursement from multiple shipping, insurance, or protection providers

  • Two merchant-issued refunds for the same transaction

If duplicate reimbursement occurs, the customer must:

  • Notify MARSTEN promptly

  • Provide accurate information

  • Reasonably cooperate in correcting the duplicate recovery

Where permitted by law, we may:

  • Cancel unused store credit

  • Provide relevant records to the payment provider

  • Request return of merchandise

  • Request repayment of the duplicated amount

  • Pursue another lawful recovery method

Nothing in this section removes any non-waivable consumer right.

31. Returns During a Payment Dispute

Do not return merchandise without written return authorization, including while a payment dispute is active.

A return made during a dispute must comply with:

Sending merchandise to an unauthorized address does not establish that:

  • A valid return occurred

  • MARSTEN received the product

  • The correct product was returned

  • The return was complete

  • The return was eligible

  • A refund is due

Keep all carrier receipts, tracking information, photographs, and communications associated with an authorized return.

32. Payment Abuse and Fraudulent Activity

Where permitted by law, we may refuse, cancel, restrict, or investigate transactions associated with reasonably suspected:

  • Payment fraud

  • Identity misuse

  • Account takeover

  • False unauthorized-payment claims

  • False delivery claims

  • Return fraud

  • Refund abuse

  • Store-credit abuse

  • Promotion abuse

  • Duplicate-reimbursement attempts

  • Unauthorized resale

  • Repeated policy violations

  • Other deceptive or unlawful activity

We may restrict future transactions reasonably associated with:

  • The same customer

  • Customer account

  • Payment method

  • Billing or shipping address

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Device

  • Other relevant identifiers

We may preserve and disclose relevant records where reasonably necessary to:

  • Prevent fraud

  • Protect customers

  • Respond to a payment dispute

  • Enforce our policies

  • Comply with law

  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights

Personal information used for these purposes is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

33. No Cash on Delivery or Unapproved Payment Methods

Unless expressly displayed as available during checkout, we do not accept:

  • Cash on delivery

  • Payment upon receipt

  • Personal checks

  • Money orders

  • Banknotes sent by mail

  • Direct cash payments

  • Unapproved bank transfers

  • Payment sent to a warehouse or returns facility

Do not send cash, checks, payment cards, banking documents, or other financial instruments to:

  • Our registered company address

  • The U.S. fulfillment facility

  • A return-processing address

  • A product supplier

  • A shipping carrier

Sending an unapproved payment does not create or complete an order.

34. Privacy and Payment Records

Payment-related personal information is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may provide relevant information to:

  • Shopify

  • Payment processors

  • Banks

  • Card networks

  • Digital-wallet providers

  • Fraud-prevention providers

  • Professional advisers

  • Regulators

  • Law-enforcement authorities

  • Other authorized parties

where reasonably necessary to:

  • Process a transaction

  • Verify payment authorization

  • Issue a refund

  • Prevent fraud

  • Investigate unauthorized activity

  • Respond to a payment dispute

  • Comply with law

  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights

MARSTEN does not sell complete payment-card details.

35. Related Policies and Document Priority

This Payment Policy should be read together with:

  • The Shipping Policy controls shipping charges, delivery services, and Shipping Protection.

  • The Privacy Policy controls personal-information practices.

  • The Terms of Service control general contractual matters, fraud, and dispute obligations.

  • Accepted payment methods

  • Payment processors

  • Checkout functionality
